How it works
Choose your date of birth. The calculator uses today's date by default, but you can also choose another date if you want to know how old someone was or will be on a specific day.
Age is calculated by comparing the birth date with the selected date. The calculator counts full years first, then full months, then the remaining days.
If someone was born on 15 March 1990 and the selected date is 15 March 2026, their age is exactly 36 years. If the selected date is 10 March 2026, their age is 35 years, 11 months and 23 days.

Why does age show years, months and days?+
Age is usually counted by full birthdays first, then the remaining months and days. This gives a more exact result than only showing years.
